"Carp Diem"

My artistic journey commenced with a remarkable painting collection book from "le Museé du Louvre", presented to me by my father following his trip to Paris. This was my first pursuit of formal training, leading me to engage with a private tutor at the age of six. Under their guidance, I explored a range of techniques, from sketching and watercolor to traditional Chinese watercolor painting, which not only nurtured my creativity but also provided me with a comprehensive skill set. Throughout my formative years, the process of creating art has brought me significant fulfillment and recognition, reinforcing my dedication to this artistic path.

The road to finding myself on the way to ART was not easy. From a young age, drawing and painting filled my life with joy and accolades. However, societal expectations and culture led me to pursue a degree in Management by pressure, overshadowing my artistic dreams. It wasn't until I immersed myself in oil painting during my university years that I rediscovered my passion, earning praise from my professor for my talent. Now, after navigating various careers, I'm finally embracing my true calling as a freelance artist, ready to share my creativity with the world.

In life, I navigated the demands of work and life, transitioning from a position in hospitality finance, and ultimately taking on the role of a college teaching. This journey led me to question my commitment to the arts until I met Gregory and my later-to-be husband, whose French romance and passion for 'Carpe Diem' inspired me to rediscover my creative potential. His steadfast encouragement has motivated me to explore diverse artistic techniques and mediums. As I undertake new projects, I am dedicated to evolving my work by integrating traditional skills with contemporary technology, embracing the vast possibilities that art presents.
